Oppo Watch 2 launched with up to 16 days of battery life, know price and features

Oppo Watch 2 has been launched in China on Tuesday, July 27. This new smartwatch is the successor of the original Oppo Watch, which was launched in March last year. The Oppo Watch 2 comes in 42mm and 46mm size versions and supports optical e-SIM for LTE connectivity and includes voice calling. As an upgrade over last year’s model, the Oppo Watch 2 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 processor. It has been claimed about the smartwatch that it will provide up to 16 days of battery life. Apart from the Oppo Watch, the Chinese company has introduced Oppo Enco Air Smart Edition and Oppo Enco Play as new true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds.

The price of Oppo Watch 2 starts at CNY 1,299 (approximately Rs 14,900), with the 42mm (Wi-Fi only) variant available. The smartwatch comes with e-SIM support, with the 42mm size priced at CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs 17,200) and the 46mm version priced at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs 22,999). Pre-booking of all these three versions is available in China, which will go on sale from August 6. However, the global price and launch information of Oppo Watch 2 has not been made public at the moment.

Along with the Watch 2, Oppo has launched the Enco Air Smart Edition for CNY 199 (approximately Rs 2,300) and the Enco Play for CNY 399 (approximately Rs 4,600).

Oppo Watch 2 specifications

Oppo Watch 2 works on Android based ColorOS Watch 2.0. Its 42mm variant has a 1.75-inch AMOLED display with 372×430 pixel resolution. While the 46mm version has a 1.91 inch AMOLED display with 402×476 pixel resolution. Both the options are equipped with a pixel density of 326ppi, which includes 60Hz refresh rate and 3D glass protection.

Apart from this, Oppo Watch 2 is equipped with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 processor, while the variant launched last year was equipped with Snapdragon Wear 2500 processor.

And it will get 16 GB storage. If this news turns out to be true, then Oppo Watch will be one of the few smartwatches that will work on Qualcomm’s latest processor. The report also states that the report also states that the Apollo4s chip will be used in combination with the Snapdragon Wear 4100. It also houses the Apollo4s co-processor, which is being developed by Oppo and Ambiq. SmartWatt has 1 GB RAM and 8 GB storage.

Coming to the preloaded fitness tracking features, the Oppo Watch 2 comes with over 100 sports modes, 24-hour heart rate tracking, and SpO2 blood oxygen monitoring. Features like sleep analysis, snoring (snoring) risk assessment and stress monitoring are available.

Oppo Watch 2 has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, NFC and Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity. Voice calling capability has been given with 4G support in LTE variants.

Oppo has given Ultra Dynamic Dual Engine (UDDE) technology in it, which is claimed to increase the battery life of the smartwatch. The 42mm version of the Oppo Watch 2 packs a 360mAh battery, which is claimed to last up to 10 days on a single charge. However, the 46mm version of the watch packs a 510mAh battery, which can last up to 16 days. The watch also has VOOC fast charging technology, which provides up to 1 hour of usage on a 10-minute charge.

The dimensions of the 42mm variant are 42.78×36.79×11.40mm and the weight is 31 grams. While the dimensions of the 46mm variant are 46.37×38.51×11.55mm and the weight is 35 grams. This smartwatch is 5ATM water resistant.

Oppo Enco Air Smart Edition, Oppo Enco Play specifications

The Oppo Enco Air Smart Edition TWS earphones come with 8mm audio drivers and are IP54 rated. It has been claimed about the earbuds that its latency rate is 80 milliseconds. Talking about connectivity, it has Bluetooth v5.2 support. There is a charging case in the earbuds, in which USB Type-C port is given for charging.


Oppo claims that the Enco Air Smart Edition is backed by a 400mAh battery that offers up to 25 hours of battery life with the charging case.

The Oppo Enco Air Smart Edition earbuds each weigh 4 grams, while the bar with the charging case is 37 grams.

Like the Oppo Enco Air Smart Edition, the Oppo Enco Play TWS earphones come with Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity and a USB Type-C port for charging. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been given in these earbuds. Other information related to Enco Play has not been disclosed at the moment.
