This is great for turkey leftovers. Simple, quick and flavorful. this is often an honest one for substitutions too. I’ve used wine in situ of lemon, soured cream in situ of yogurt, chicken in situ of turkey and Indian naan in situ of the pita. Enjoy!
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cup sliced onion
2 tablespoons juice
½ pound cooked turkey, dig chunks
1 tablespoon flavorer , or to taste
1 medium apple, cored and thinly sliced
3 pita bread rounds
½ cup plain yogurt

Steps to Make It
Heat oil during a skillet over medium-high heat. Stir in onion and juice . Cook until onion is tender. Mix in turkey, season with flavorer and continue cooking until heated through.
Remove from heat. Stir in apple. Stuff pitas with the mixture. Drizzle with yogurt to serve.
