Seasonal fever patients are increasing in the city. At present 1200 patients of seasonal fever are admitted in Civil and Smeer Hospital. More than 400 patients of viral fever are coming daily for treatment in Civil. In this, the condition of more than 50 patients has to be admitted due to deteriorating condition. Same is the case with Smeer Hospital. More than 300 patients are going there for treatment every day. Of these, about 50 patients are being admitted.
Head of Indian Medical Association, Surat Dr. Heeral Shah said that 15000 to 20000 patients are coming to private hospitals every day, 60% of them are of viral fever. In the last four years, this time the maximum number of patients of seasonal fever are coming. The temperature has increased due to the continuous change in the weather. Doctors say that the humidity gives support to the viral infection, due to which it is growing rapidly.
It is not raining consistently this time. It rains for two or three days, after which the bright sun comes out. When it rains, the temperature drops suddenly and as soon as the rain stops, the temperature rises rapidly. It gets hot. For this reason, viral infection is spreading rapidly.
Till now three lives have been done
Delay and carelessness in treatment can lead to a serious viral fever patient. One on Friday and two on Saturday have lost their lives. On Friday, the investigation of a youth from Limbayat had gone, while on Saturday an 11-year-old child lost his life in Adajan’s middle-aged and Pandesara. He complained of fever and vomiting and diarrhea.
If the lungs are infected, then the treatment is long
Some people are getting relief on the second or third day of illness and some are getting relief within a week. At the same time, many people are not able to recover even after 15 days. Dr. Ashwin Vasava explains that where and to which part of the viral infection has been involved, the recovery depends on it. If the infection reaches the lungs, then the treatment goes on for a long time.
Patients are getting these complaints
Fever, cold, sore throat and sore throat, cough, chest pain, chills, head and body pain, severe and unbearable pain in joints, weakness, loss of appetite. In many cases, there is a problem of vomiting and diarrhea.
What to do if you have viral fever, what not to do
Viral infection is increasing due to humidity, people are getting sick
This time the weather is witnessing rapid ups and downs. The cases of viral fever have increased rapidly due to the change in the weather. The number of patients is increasing day by day. The biggest reason for this is humidity. It favors viral infections. This is the reason why the number of patients is increasing rapidly.

Do not delay treatment if fever is accompanied by vomiting and diarrhea
If there is excessive vomiting and diarrhea in viral fever, then there is swelling in the kidneys. There is a danger of death due to this. Due to high fever and diarrhea, blood pressure becomes very low at times. If BP comes from 40 to 50, then understand that there is a danger. In this case, delay in treatment can lead to death.
