An important meeting on night curfew and sanctions in Gujarat is to be held at Gandhinagar under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani.

The meeting will review the state of corona across the state. As well as the state of sanctions and curfew will be decided. After the meeting, the state government will announce a new decision on the curfew issue.
Restrictions can be relaxed
The government could ease sanctions as corona cases fall in the state. The trade association has also earlier demanded the lifting of the curfew. Let me tell you, earlier the ban was extended for 3 days till May 18, 19, and 20 due to the cyclone. Currently, a night curfew has been imposed in 36 cities of the state.
A three-day curfew was issued following the Tauktae cyclone
Additional limited controls in 36 cities of Gujarat have been announced by Chief Minister Rupani with reference to the guidelines of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. This night curfew will be enforced in these cities from 8 pm on May 18, 2021, to 6 am on May 21, 2021, till 6 am. Corona curfew and additional limited restrictions will apply to 36 cities, including 8 metros, from 8 pm to 6 am. All necessary services will continue during these restrictions: grocery store, vegetable, fruit and fruit store, medical store, milk parlor, bakery, grocery store, and spectacle store.
Corona status in Gujarat
There is news of relief for the people of Gujarat regarding the daily case of Corona. Because the daily cases of the state have reached 5 thousand. It is worth mentioning that 5 thousand 246 new cases of corona have been reported in the state. On the other hand, the number of deaths due to corona has also decreased. More than 71 patients have died from corona in the state.
There has also been a decline in active cases in the state
So far 7 lakh 71 thousand 447 reports have come positive in the state, while the death toll has risen to 9340. As many as 6 lakh 69 thousand 490 patients have been discharged so far. Speaking of active cases, there are currently 92,617 active cases in the state, out of which 742 patients are on ventilators, while 91,875 patients are in stable condition.
Re-vaccination operation in the state from today
Vaccination will resume in the state from today. Vaccinations for people over the age of 45 were discontinued after May 14. Vaccination will be done from tomorrow as per the new guidelines. Vaccination was suspended after May 17 due to hurricane conditions. Citizens over the age of 45 will be vaccinated again from today. A second dose of the Covishield vaccine will be available between 12 and 16 weeks. Citizens between the ages of 18 and 44 will be able to get the vaccine as per registration.
