Looks like now the company is going to re-introduce its old handsets with some new features. The new Redmi Note 8 (2021) has been spotted on multiple certification sites such as the FCC and EEC. Maybe work is still going on on this. Some specifications of this phone have also been leaked by social media tipster. It is being said that this smartphone will have MediaTek’s Helio G85 SoC processor.

Citing a page on Xiaomi, the tipster has associated this model number with the Redmi Note 8 (2021). In this listing it has been leaked that the phone will have MediaTek’s Helio G85 SoC processor and 4,000mAh battery. It will operate on MIUI 12.5. The same model number has also been spotted on the European EEC certification site.

It is being said that it can have a FullHD+ display with a refresh rate of 60Hz. At the same time, Xiaomiui said that it can also have a refresh rate of 120Hz. The phone will have a waterdrop notch style. In this, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB and 128 GB storage options can be seen. For connectivity, at present, only Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and Bluetooth v5 have been revealed.
