Citizens can register to get vaccinated through the Co-WIN portal by registering through their phone numbers, after which an OTP is sent to their phone for first step verification.
Here’s what you need to know about how to register for getting vaccinated.
Registration for all vaccinations over the age of 18 will begin April 28.
The steps for registration of the vaccine are as follows.
Step 1: https://selfregistration.cowin.gov.in Open this link and go to the registration portal and select the registration option.
Step 2: Enter your mobile number and click on Get OTP. OTP will come to your mobile number, which will have to be submitted in 180 seconds.
Step 3: As soon as you submit the OTP, a new page will open in which you have to fill in your details.
Step 4: Select any photo ID, Aadhaar card, Driving license, PAN card, Passport, Pension passbook, NPR smart card, or Voter ID will also be valid. Select one of the options.
Step 5: Fill in the details of ID number, Name, Gender, and Date of birth. After filling all the details Click on Register.
Final Step: You will then have the option to select the nearest Covid Vaccination Center. After selecting the center, you can select a convenient time slot.
